Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation Launches Connecting Commuter Campaign
DRPT and its transit partners throughout the Commonwealth continue their efforts to return transit ridership to pre-pandemic levels.
 DRPT is excited to announce the Connecting Commuters marketing campaign, set to kick off on March 18, 2024. Through mid-May, DRPT wants to encourage commuters throughout Virginia to explore public transit options and earn rider rewards by downloading the ConnectingVA app. Advertisements will run on a variety of platforms, including digital, social media, and interior bus and transit shelter ads.
“DRPT is proud of the public-private partnership with AgileMile in developing the ConnectingVA app. As we are very close to our goal of returning public transportation ridership to pre-pandemic levels, the app will provide an innovative tool to connect individuals throughout the Commonwealth to work and leisure activities,” said DRPT Director Jennifer DeBruhl.
