The Office of School Quality is excited to finally be at the point of engaging with Division and School Leaders to assist with the development of Division and School Support Plans.  As these new templates for continuous improvement may require some adjustment and a change of mindset, we are certain that it builds a foundation whereby OSQ, Divisions, and Schools will be able to acutely identify targeted needs and supports to best move student achievement forward in a significant and sustainable way.  It is our goal that new levels of excellence will continue to be a rising target each year.  Our next phase of engagement will be supporting divisions with federally identified schools to successfully acquire school improvement grants and select highly effective evidence-based interventions to best meet the needs of our students.

We express our gratitude to both division and school leaders, as well as all classroom teachers and support staff - thank you for the work that you do every day to support students across the Commonwealth of Virginia. Divisions should update their OSQ contact and/or add another contact into SSWS.  To update SSWS with the correct School Quality and School Quality Back-up contacts, division leaders need to communicate with their designated division administrator to make the needed changes internally. If your designated division administrator needs assistance, he/she may send an email to the VDOE Data Services team at resultshelp@doe.virginia.gov.
