2023 Youth and Family Summit
The 2023 Youth and Family Summit is a three-day event held in June and sponsored by the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) and the Partnership for People with Disabilities at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Youth with disabilities across the Commonwealth meet to network and discuss issues of importance to youth and young adults with disabilities. Youth and families will learn about three key components of self-determination: Competence, Autonomy, and Relatedness.
Date: June 13-15, 2023, (Tuesday evening - Thursday afternoon)
Location: Festival Conference & Student Center at James Madison University (JMU)

Attendees: We will accept up to 50 youth residing in Virginia
Ages: 14-18 years old
