Hello and Happy September!
I hope this new school year has gotten off to a wonderful start! This month's edition of this e-newsletter contains timely and relevant information and resources for division leaders and educators of fine arts education. Please pass this information on to fine arts educators in your division.
Last month's edition contained numerous resources for starting the new school year. You can check out the August edition here if you missed it.
This month also brings a change to the fine arts office at VDOE. Michelle Milligan, VDOE Music Specialist, has left for another position. We are thankful for Michelle's two years of leadership and service and wish her well in her new role!
This change also brings an opportunity. If you or someone you know would like to learn more about the part-time VDOE Music Specialist role, please email me at kelly.bisogno@doe.virginia.gov.
I hope you all have a fantastic September, and I hope to see you at upcoming professional learning events virtually or in person.
Sincerely,
Kelly Bisogno
