Refining Your Toolkit: Counseling Fundamentals Virtual Learning Series
 |
|
This series is directed towards licensed, school-based, mental health practitioners, such as school counselors, school psychologists, and school social workers.
These modules offer licensed practitioners the opportunity to learn about the following four commonly used counseling theories in the school setting:
|
- Solution-Focused Brief Counseling,
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),
- Motivational Interviewing, and
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
The content presented may serve as a refresher to previously learned concepts or an introduction to new techniques or theory. Either way, we hope you find the information revitalizing, relevant, and helpful as you work to meet the mental health needs of students across the state.
After completing all four modules, practitioners can take an assessment to earn a professional learning certificate.
