Public Notice: Virtual Public Hearing on Proposed 2020 Computer Technology Standards of Learning

The Virginia Board of Education will hold a virtual public hearing on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. to solicit comments on the proposed 2020 Computer Technology Standards of Learning. The Standards of Learning identify the essential knowledge and skills by grade levels. Comments regarding the proposed Standards of Learning may be offered during the public hearing.

The virtual public hearing will be livestreamed on the VDOE YouTube Channel. Members of the public who wish to speak must submit a request to instruction@doe.virginia.gov by Friday, September 11, 2020. Speaker remarks should be limited to three minutes.
