Preventive services are available to all adult Medicaid members as a proactive step to help improve your overall health. Regular check-ups can identify areas for improvement before things become a larger problem.
The following preventive services are available at no cost:
- Adult wellness exams
- Blood pressure and cholesterol screenings
- Cancer screenings
- Individual and group smoking cessation and alcohol counseling
- Mental health screenings
- Nutritional Counseling
- Vaccines such as tetanus and diphtheria, shingles, hepatitis A and B, influenza and human papillomavirus (HPV)
