Dental coverage is one of the many benefits that you receive as a Medicaid member. Through the Smiles For Children program, both children and pregnant women receive dental services. Some of the covered services include:

Children (20 years and younger) Pregnant Women (21 years and older)
  • Regular Dental Check-ups
  • Cleanings, Fillings, Fluoride & Sealants
  • X-Rays
  • Extractions
  • Oral Surgery
  • Orthodontics

Your dentist must participate in the Smiles For Children program for services to be covered. For more information about dental coverage for children or pregnant women, call Smiles For Children at 1-888-912-3456, or TTY 1-800-466-7566. Adults age 21 and older can find information about their dental coverage by calling the member services number on the back of their member ID card.
