Did You Receive a YELLOW Open Enrollment Letter in the Mail?

Then now is the time to choose the best health plan for your needs!

Yellow Medallion Letter

If your health needs have changed, now is the time to update your Medicaid health plan for the year. You have choices! There are six health plans to compare and choose from.

If you are satisfied with your current plan, you do not need to do anything. Your current plan will automatically renew.

You can change your health plan through December 31, 2020. Download the MEDALLION App or visit our Medallion 4.0 website to help find the best health plan for you!

To choose a health plan or to find a doctor:

  1. Download the free MEDALLION App on your Android or iPhone by searching for Virginia Medallion on Google Play or the App Store.
  2. Read the comparison chart that came with the open enrollment letter and review the added benefits for each health plan to see what best meets your needs.
  3. There are three ways to change your health plan:
    • Click on the MEDALLION App. Use your Medicaid ID and Date of Birth to login.
    • Go to VirginiaManagedCare.com. Click Enroll.
    • Call the Managed Care Helpline at 1-800-643-2273 (TTY: 1-800-817-6608). Open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Interpreter services are free.
