Performance Management Update - July 2025

Greetings HR Leaders,
On March 7, 2025, we communicated important updates about performance objectives and competencies. We're providing a mid-year update on our performance review process and want to express our sincere thanks for your continued dedication and hard work. Your efforts in initiating performance reviews, guiding supervisors through position description updates, and assisting with the creation of performance objectives for this cycle are greatly appreciated.
We are continuing to report key metrics to the Secretary's office. As of July 15, 72% of reviews have been initiated. If you haven't initiated reviews for your agency, please do so immediately.
A critical reminder: to ensure self-evaluations automatically kick off in November, all reviews must be in the "Ongoing Feedback" step. Please work with your supervisors to ensure all reviews are progressed to this step.
To further support you and your teams through the evaluation process, we will be hosting weekly office hours on Tuesdays from 1:00 – 2:00 pm starting on September 9, 2025, through January 31, 2026. If you haven’t received the invite, please email Ponnette Smith.
