Reminder! Workforce Plans are Due September 30th
Agency Workforce Plans are due to DHRM by September 30, 2024. Signed Workforce Plans and the Agency Strategy Template can be emailed to dhrm.wfp@dhrm.virginia.gov.
We hosted three live working sessions, detailing the process and steps to complete the workforce plan in July. Sessions were recorded and posted to the DHRM GoToMeeting Channel. For any questions, please contact dhrm.wfp@dhrm.virginia.gov.
Coming Soon! Performance Management System Updates
Be on the lookout for additional communications regarding the Performance Management System. VITA has established a "Self-Assessment" process that will be available soon. This process will continue to support state employees in their talent development, job satisfaction and overall employee experience as well as to foster a continued culture of service and professionalism for employees and our citizens. Exciting News! Spanish Translations for State Required Training
The Office of Workforce Development has made significant progress in providing Spanish translations for state-required training. We are thrilled to announce that our first course, "MVP - Español - Política de Alcohol y Otras Drogas 1.05," which covers the Alcohol and Drug Policy 1.05, is now available on the COVLC. Stay tuned for additional courses in Spanish, which will be rolled out in the coming months. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to accessibility and inclusivity in our training programs.

We are initiating a targeted data cleanup effort to ensure that Cardinal records are accurate and up to date. Your agency's participation in this effort is vital and required for maintaining the integrity of our systems and being able to provide accurate and reliable data for reporting and informed decision making. The 2024 Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC) will launch statewide on Wednesday, October 2nd!
