Fostering Futures 2026 Graduation
 This event celebrated young individuals in foster care who have proudly graduated from high school. Each graduate present had thrilling plans for their future, including joining the military, enrolling in vocational trade school, or pursuing higher education at college.
Habitat for Humanity House
 Supervisor Jessica Schneider had the pleasure of attending a ribbon-cutting event for a beautifully restored home in the Clover Hill District. This project serves as a shining example of what can be achieved when local government, nonprofits, volunteers, and community partners come together in unity.
Mobile Treatment Services Unit Ribbon Cutting
 Board members recently cut the ribbon for the new Mobile Treatment Unit for Mental Health Support Services. This addition enhances access to care by bringing services directly to individuals, thereby reducing obstacles to treatment.
Dupuy Historical Marker Unveiling
 Chesterfield County and the Concerned Citizens of Ettrick hosted a ceremony to unveil a new historical marker at the site of the former Dupuy Elementary School. After the county's school system was integrated, the building was repurposed as the Ettrick Elementary School Annex before being demolished in 2020. The county transferred the five-acre property to the Maggie Walker Community Land Trust, paving the way for the creation of Ettrick Landing.
Food Bank Event at VSU
 Supervisor Kevin Carroll participated in the Chesterfield Food Bank event at Virginia State University, organized by the Chesterfield Chapter of the Virginia State University Alumni Association.
Fire and EMS Graduation Ceremony
 Members of Recruit School 72 graduated on July 2, held at Victory Tabernacle Church. The six new firefighters bring a diverse range of backgrounds and are now proud members of the Chesterfield Fire and EMS family!
NACo Annual Conference
 Ms. Schneider and Dr. Miller had the pleasure of attending the 2026 NACo Annual Conference which united county leaders for an enriching few days filled with education, teamwork, and networking. Chesterfield was honored to receive a Best in Category Achievement Award for Libraries.
