County officials and staff have received several inquiries about data center development in Chesterfield. For that reason, the county is sharing information about Google’s upcoming community meetings, which will provide county residents with opportunities to receive accurate information about Google’s planned data center projects directly from company representatives.
The open house-style meetings will take place from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on the following dates:
- Wednesday, July 15, at Hamel Hall, Room H109, on the Midlothian campus of Brightpoint Community College, 800 Charter Colony Parkway
- Thursday, July 16, at Cosby High School, Cafeteria, 14300 Fox Club Parkway
At each meeting, residents can review project plans, learn more about infrastructure and sustainability initiatives, and get answers to questions from subject matter experts.
Representatives from Google will be in attendance to address key topics, including water usage, power, sound, community benefits, and more.
For those who are unable to attend, information will be made available on Google’s project website following the events.
