Resolution Honoring Dr. Casey

Interfaith Ramadan Potluck Iftar
 Clover Hill District Supervisor Jessica Schneider attended the 7th Annual Interfaith Ramadan Potluck Iftar, supporting ANERA (American Near East Refugee Aid) at Bon Air Presbyterian Church.
Diamonds and Denim
 The Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce held its "Diamonds & Denim" event, a key signature business celebration and awards show for 2026.
RVA Sports Awards
 The RVA Sports Awards, organized by the Richmond Region Tourism Foundation, was held on March 1. Board members celebrated the athletes, coaches, teams, and community champions who contribute to making the Richmond Region a genuine area of champions.
VCUHS Topping Off Ceremony
 Leadership from VCU Health and Virginia Commonwealth University joined state and local government representatives to sign the final beam for VCU Health's Chesterfield Pavilion before it was placed at the top of the 100,000-square-foot building.
Midlo Hot Yoga Ribbon Cutting
 Board Chair Mark Miller joined members of the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce at the Midlo Hot Yoga and Wellness ribbon cutting ceremony.
Greenview Funding Announcement
 Board members joined Senator Mark Warner and leaders throughout the region to recognize the unprecedented regional commitment of $10,000,000 from the City of Richmond, Henrico County, and Chesterfield County to Greenview. The project will include 60 apartments with onsite support services for residents who have experienced homelessness and/or have very low incomes.
Book Vending Machine
 Board Chair Mark Miller visited the book vending machine at A.M. Davis Elementary School. Forty elementary schools and one middle school in Chesterfield now feature vending machines stocked with books. This initiative provides students who may lack access to books at home the opportunity to create their own personal library of books to keep.
Ramadan Fasting Event
 Board members took part in a formal opportunity called "Experience Ramadan with Muslims" at the Islamic Center of Richmond. Activities included Arabic calligraphy and Henna demonstrations as well as Quran readings, an Islam 101 Q&A and an Iftar break fast after sunset.
Diaper Drive
 The Chesterfield Annual Diaper Drive is returning for its thirteenth year, and it’s calling on the community for support to gather newly packaged baby diapers and wipes.
Falling Creek Police Station Groundbreaking
 Board members officially broke ground on the new Falling Creek police station, signaling the beginning of construction for a facility aimed at enhancing emergency services for community members.
