CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA —The Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 25, starting with a work session at 2 p.m. in Room 502 of the County Administration Building, 9901 Lori Road, and then an evening session that will begin at 6 p.m. in the Public Meeting Room, 10001 Iron Bridge Road.
Meeting agenda highlights include updates on the FY2027 budget and state legislative matters.
The entire meeting, excluding the closed session, will be available for viewing on Comcast Channel 98 and Verizon Channel 28, and live streamed on chesterfield.gov and the county’s YouTube channel.
Citizens who wish to make comments on the portion of the board’s agenda known as "Citizen Comment Period on Unscheduled Matters" may submit comments via an online form or leave a message by calling 804-748-1200. The portal will close at 5 p.m. on the day prior to the scheduled board meeting (Feb. 24) in order to prepare comments for the public and the board to see in a timely manner prior to the board meeting.
Citizens wishing to speak in person on unscheduled matters must sign up in advance by contacting Susan Wilson by email or calling 804-748-1200. In accordance with the Rules of Procedure of the Board of Supervisors, the Clerk shall only accept speaking requests for board meeting beginning at 8:30 a.m. on the first business day following the prior board meeting and ending at noon on the day of the meeting.
The public hearing comment form and the meeting agenda are posted online for citizens to view and citizens are encouraged to view public hearing agenda items and all attachments before submitting a comment.
