Adoptable Pet Spotlight

Get to Know Dennis!
Dennis came to us after being found in the middle of the road on a rainy day with his sister. They were so scared. Over his time at the shelter, Dennis has gained confidence, but he may still take a few moments to adjust to new environments and new people. He has learned that being a puppy is lots of fun and loves to zoom around and chase tennis balls. He gets along with other dogs, but prefers a calmer friend who will allow him some space until he's ready to play.
He really is such a sweet boy and will climb into your lap for a snuggle once he's warmed up to you. Dennis is a 9-month-old, neutered male Lab mix and weighs around 50 lbs. Like all puppies he will need some basic training.
If you are interested in meeting this pet, please contact Chesterfield County Animal Services at 804-748-1683, option "2," to schedule an appointment. Office staff are available by phone 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturdays. Our shelter is located at 9300 Public Works Road.
