Summer hours are changing at Rockwood Nature Center. Visit Wednesday through Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. starting June 3.

Take in the sounds of the Richmond Symphony at the Heritage Amphitheater while surrounded by the beauty of Pocahontas State Park.

📍Friday, June 20
On the longest day of the year, it's time to Play All Day! Our team has created fun opportunities for the community to engage with nature, activities and each other! Scope out what you want to do now and join the fun on Friday, June 20! Most are free or low-cost and few require advanced registration.

Ericka Bynum
Principal Recreation Specialist
Ericka Bynum brings extensive experience to Chesterfield Parks and Recreation, having worked in almost every area of the field, including athletics, youth programs, summer camps, therapeutic and older adult recreation, special events, and facility operations. She currently leads our four recreation centers: Bensley, Beulah, Ettrick, and Stonebridge. She and her team have launched a wide range of successful programs and events that engage and uplift the community. Ericka has introduced standout events like
