Chesterfield County Farmers Market 2025 Season Begins
📍Wednesday, May 7
The Chesterfield County Farmers Market, located at 6701 Mimms Loop, Chesterfield, VA 23832, will begin its 2025 season! Join us on Wednesdays, May 7 through Sept. 24, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

All Abilities Recreation Fair
📍Saturday, May 10
Explore available indoor and outdoor recreation opportunities. Vendors will be present to hand out information regarding art, music, sports, and more. This fair will contain opportunities for all ages and abilities in Chesterfield County and the surrounding areas.

Chesterfield Outdoor Fest
📍Saturday, May 31, noon to 5 p.m. Chesterfield County Fairgrounds
The second annual Chesterfield Outdoor Fest, presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors Midlothian, is a family-friendly event showcasing a variety of outdoor activities you can experience throughout the county.

Courtney Whisenant
Lead Programmer and Animal Keeper
With Courtney on board, Rockwood Nature Center is soaring to new heights in environmental education! Her passion for both teaching the next generation of environmentalists and caring for the ambassador animals in the nature center shines through with everything she does. Courtney brings laughs, enthusiasm, and a profound sense of respect for our natural world. She has worked hard to create quality programs for students and the public, as well as improve habitat in the county and advance the animal care program at Rockwood Nature Center.
