NEW FIELDS OPEN
AT RIVER CITY SPORTSPLEX
River City Sportsplex in Chesterfield has officially expanded to 16 fields with the addition of four new lighted fields, just in time for the annual Shooting Star Field Hockey Tournament. This expansion helps meet the growing demand for athletic field access and supports the continued success of the complex as a top tournament destination. |
The new fields were made possible through funding from the 2022 bond referendum, with additional improvements planned for 2025, including more parking, a destination play area with a splash pad, and a 5k trail system. The expansion solidifies River City Sportsplex as a premier destination for both local leagues and major tournaments, continuing to drive economic impact and enhance recreational opportunities in the community. |
