If you've ever enjoyed a Parks and Recreation event like Trunk or Treat, the Fourth of July celebration, Kite Day, or the new Snowball Festival, you've been impacted by event coordinator, Vicki Kiger.
Vicki is a true powerhouse of event planning and execution. Her innovative and creative ideas bring joy to thousands of community members. From the grand vision to the smallest detail, she oversees every aspect of these events, collaborating with multiple county departments to ensure fun, safe, and unforgettable experiences for all ages.

While she excels at large-scale events, Vicki's favorite project is the annual Veterans Motorcycle Biker Rally in November. This special event honors veterans with a complimentary lunch and an escorted ride to the Virginia War Memorial. |

Our Trunk or Treat event on Tuesday, Oct. 22, was a huge success, filled with fun, creative costumes, and great community spirit!
We loved seeing everyone’s amazing outfits as families enjoyed a night of trick-or-treating, delicious food, and lively music.
Thank you to everyone who came out to make this event memorable—we can't wait to celebrate with you again next year!
