PUBLIC NOTICE: Update – Virtual Meeting – January 27th, 2026, County Board Recessed Meeting

ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA
UPDATED PUBLIC NOTICE

 

PLEASE NOTE: The January 27, 2026, Recessed Meeting of the Arlington County Board is being held electronically via Microsoft Teams.

Due to the Declaration of Emergency related to winter weather issued by Governor Spanberger on January 22, 2026, and the local declaration of an emergency as declared by the County Manager on January 24, 2026, and that it is impracticable or unsafe for the County Board to assemble a quorum in a single location due to the impacts of the winter weather that necessitated the emergency declarations, the Recessed Meeting of the Arlington County Board will be held electronically pursuant to the Virginia Code Section 2.2-3708.2 to provide for the continuity of operations of the County Board or to discharge the Board’s lawful purposes, duties, and responsibilities. All the members of the County Board and staff are participating from remote locations through a video conference on Microsoft Teams. This meeting is being held electronically, unless a determination is made that it is safe enough to be held in person in the County Board Meeting Room at the Bozman Government Center, 2100 Clarendon Blvd. Suite #307, Arlington, VA 22201.

The meeting will also be available via live stream at www.arlingtonva.us and local cable stations on Comcast 25 & 1073 and Verizon FiOS 39 & 40.
