Statement on Curbside Collection Issues in Arlington

We are aware of reports of incomplete or missed collections as crews from Arlington County’s new household solid waste contractor become familiar with routes and neighborhoods. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask for patience during this transition period between contractors.

Staff with the Solid Waste Bureau is working diligently with the contractor to address any partial or missed collections. Please leave carts at the curb until they are emptied.

You can also call the Customer Contact Center at 703-228-5000, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m., to speak to a customer service representative about service issues.
