In partnership with Congressman Don Beyer, Arlington County is joining other regional municipalities to host a joint Resource Fair for federal workers and contractors. This fair will be held on March 8, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Wakefield High School.
“Arlington County is proud to support its residents who are undoubtedly being impacted by the onslaught of federal layoffs” said Chair Takis Karantonis. “We appreciate the leadership of Congressman Beyer in this effort. We ask that the community assist us in amplifying this message, so that we can reach all our neighbors in need of support in these difficult times.”
This event is offered at no cost to attendees, and a free shuttle will be circulating throughout the duration of the event between Ballston Metro (next to the Ballston-MU South Elevator at N. Fairfax Dr. and N. Stuart St.) and Wakefield High School.
This fair will provide federal workers with access to essential resources and services, which include:

Unemployment assistance;

Mental health support;
-
Housing and food aid information;
-
Information on federal workers rights.
Arlington County’s Department of Human Services and Department of Human Resources will be in attendance ready to assist any impacted residents.
