Grant Awarded from EPA

On June 15, the Arlington County Board approved a $980,350 grant award from the EPA's Environmental Justice Government-to-Government Grant Program. The Grant will support the development of building energy efficiency, financing mechanisms and public engagement strategies specifically tailored to low-income disadvantaged communities. The County plans to build a tool to model green improvements in buildings similar to those in low-income disadvantaged communities to increase energy efficiency and electrification project implementation.
