Solar for All Funding

The Virginia Department of Energy will receive over $156 million in federal funding under the “Solar for All” grant. Around 50% of the Commonwealth’s households will be eligible to benefit. Stay up to date.

2024 VEPGA Annual Meeting

AIRE team member and VEPGA Board Chair Steve Burr recently welcomed VEPGA members to this year's 2024 VEPGA Annual Meeting, which was held at Lubber Run Community Center. The Virginia Energy Purchasing Governmental Association (VEPGA) tracks energy developments in Virginia and negotiates electricity contracts on behalf of about 170 local government entity members. Topics of the annual meeting included board elections, EV charging infrastructure installations, Joint Action Committee Updates, energy legislation and more! Learn more about VEPGA.
