2024 VEPGA Annual Meeting

AIRE team member and VEPGA Board Chair Steve Burr recently welcomed VEPGA members to this year's 2024 VEPGA Annual Meeting, which was held at Lubber Run Community Center. The Virginia Energy Purchasing Governmental Association (VEPGA) tracks energy developments in Virginia and negotiates electricity contracts on behalf of about 170 local government entity members. Topics of the annual meeting included board elections, EV charging infrastructure installations, Joint Action Committee Updates, energy legislation and more! Learn more about VEPGA.

2024 Solar Eclipse Impact

During the partial solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, all on-site solar installations at Arlington County facilities saw a significant drop in solar generation. View the impact graph on our website.
