Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) Grant Application Submitted

The AIRE team recently submitted a microgrid and resiliency hub proposal as part of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) program. BRIC supports states, local communities, tribes and territories as they undertake hazard mitigation projects, reducing the risks they face from disasters and natural hazards. Education and resources are often focused on homeowners to green their homes, with less resources available for implementing energy efficiency solutions in leased homes. We want to make energy efficiency more accessible to YOU! Please provide your feedback here to help guide the design of renter-friendly green home resources.

 

C-PACE Project Completed

Arlington County was the top dog in bringing together small business and sustainable energy investment in its second C-PACE project. The Arlington Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program is enabling Snouts & Stouts to make a series of sustainable energy upgrades. Read the full press release.
