Thank you to everyone who participated in the first engagement of the Deer Management Project!
The project's next phase will focus on further education of deer and forest management in Arlington, as well as, different management strategies that the County could consider implementing. Below is a draft timeline of how we plan to kick off 2024 with more opportunities to learn about and weigh in on the Deer Management Project.
Education: January-February 2024
- Finalize and release the summary of the first engagement
- Share new educational materials
- Host two public virtual meetings with a walkthrough of educational materials and opportunities for Q&A
