On Tuesday, December 5, and Wednesday, December 6, crews will be conducting tree work at the intersection of Shirlington Road and South Arlington Mill Drive.
Work will take place on Shirlington Road first.
- The southbund right lane and sidewalk will close
- All traffic will share left lane
- Flaggers will direct traffic to allow pedestrians and bicyclists to proceed safely on left lane
Work will shift to South Arlington Mill Drive.
- The westbound right lane and sidewalk will close.
- Pedestrian and bike traffic will detour at South Campbell and South Randolph Street crosswalks.
Work will take place between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 .M.. This work is in preparation for construction of the Shirlington Road pedestrian bridge. To learn more, visit the project page.
