New Stay and Play Program for Tots!
Designed for children ages 12-36 months, our new Stay and Play program offers 60 minutes of play in our toddler-friendly rooms from 9:30-10:30 a.m. or 10:45-11:45 a.m. on select weekdays. Six-week sessions at Madison starting in late February. $30-60. Learn more here and sign up here.
Open Bounce Fun!
Get your bounce on! Children ages 3-9 can bounce freely indoors with three bounce houses at Madison through March 26! $3 per child. Sign up here. Adults (age 18+) must remain on site.
55+ Travel: Army Museum Tour
On Mon., Feb. 6 from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m., tour this new museum, the first comprehensive national museum to capture, display and interpret over 245 years of Army history, as seen through the eyes of American soldiers. $11 per person. 55+ membership required. Meet at Madison at 9:30 a.m. Sign up here.

Fort C.F. Smith Museum & Visitor Center Reopening
After nearly three years, the Fort C.F. Smith Museum & Visitor Center has reopened! The visitor center is open on Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays from 1-5 p.m. Bring your family to learn about Arlington County’s rich Civil War past!

Welcome to Second Saturday Crafternoons! On Feb. 11 we will be making sweet valentines for your sweetie. Drop in to the Fairlington Community Center Art Studio (room 130) any time between 1:30-3:30 p.m. This free program is for all ages, however, children must be accompanied by an adult. Grandparents, grandchildren and grand-friends of all ages are invited to join us for a fun Valentine's Day paint along on Sat., Feb. 11 from 10 a.m.–noon! Our expert instructors will walk you step-by-step through a beautiful Valentine's work of art together. Hot cocoa, tea and small snacks will be provided. Vibrant Valentines

Feel the Heritage Festival 2023
The 2023 Feel the Heritage Festival will be held on Sat., Feb. 25, noon-5 p.m. at Charles Drew Community Center. The free festival welcomes hundreds each year to learn about the Arlington’s historically African American neighborhoods while enjoying live entertainment, delicious food, and dozens of vendors. Knock, Knock. Whoooo's There?
Families are invited to join us to learn about the owls of Arlington on Fri., Feb. 24 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Gulf Branch Nature Center. We’ll spend the evening keeping our ears open as we walk around the park and practice our calls, and even get to meet our resident barred owl! MLK Tribute Recap
Thank you to the hundreds of residents who attended the annual MLK Tribute event on Jan. 15 at Washington-Liberty High School! This was our first year back in person following the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and we were thrilled to see you all. The program highlighted Dr. King’s visit to Lomax AME Zion Church in Arlington before the 1963 March on Washington and featured live music, dance and spoken word.
