Housing Matters

Barcroft Master Financing and Development Plan

Jair Lynch recently submitted the MFDP that describes how they intend to elevate the Columbia Pike corridor while preserving and protecting the largest collection of affordable housing in Arlington County. The plan includes proposed concepts to renovate and preserve existing units as affordable housing, along with replacing some units with new development, to maintain the total 1,334 affordable units. Jair Lynch’s proposed concepts also include adding new market rate development.

Homeownership Study Gears Up for Community Visioning with Release of Key Data

The Housing Arlington Homeownership Study will examine Arlington’s homeownership data and existing homeownership programs through a racial equity lens. The study will clarify the County’s vision and goals related to homeownership and develop recommendations for modifications to Arlington’s homeownership programs or, potentially, new programs to consider. To inform the study, planners from the County’s Housing Division have published a report that uses data to paint a picture of the current homeownership landscape in Arlington County.

Homeless Response System Strategic Planning Community Sessions

Join Arlington’s Continuum of Care or Homeless Response System as we continue to develop our next strategic plan to prevent and end homelessness. We'll define shared goals and high-impact strategies that will guide our work in preventing and ending homelessness by 2026.

Digital eCheckup

Many households and businesses lack access to the infrastructure, skills, or tools they need to take full advantage of broadband. Arlington County has launched a study to better understand its community’s internet use and broadband access. As part of this work, we’re asking both residents and businesses to participate in a digital eCheckup.
