Vehicle and Real Estate Taxes Due Oct. 5
The due date for Arlington County Vehicle Personal Property and second installment Real Estate taxes is Wed., October 5. Payments can be made online at capp.arlingtonva.us, by mail, in-person at Bozman Government Center, or through the 24-hour drop box.

Fall E-CARE Happening at Wakefield High School
Arlington's big fall cleanup and drop-off day takes place Saturday, Oct. 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the school’s parking lot at 1325 South Dinwiddie Street. Arlington residents can safely dispose of household hazardous materials and old electronics during the event.

County Board Seeks Input on Ranked Choice Voting
The Arlington County Board is seeking public comments on a proposed Ranked Choice Voting pilot for the 2023 County Board June primary election. Share your thoughts on this voting method through November 4.

- Free COVID-19 bivalent booster vaccines are now available through Arlington County Public Health by appointment only. No walk-ins will be allowed.
- People 12 years and older are recommended to receive one updated Pfizer or Moderna (bivalent) booster at least two months after completion of a primary series or who previously received a monovalent booster. At this time, people 12-17 years old can only receive the updated Pfizer bivalent booster. Learn more from the CDC: Stay Up to Date with COVID-19 Vaccines Including Boosters.
- Arlington County Public Health is also now offering the Novavax vaccine as a two-dose primary series for those ages 12 and older. Novavax is another option for people who may be allergic to or prefer not to get an mRNA vaccine. For a complete list of vaccines offered, visit our website.
- Additional opportunities to get COVID-19 vaccines and boosters are available in and around Arlington through pharmacies and other medical providers. Visit vaccines.gov to find a location near you.

$20 Million in Federal Funding Secured for Long Bridge Crossing
 Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA), along with Arlington County officials and regional transportation partners, today announced $20 million in federal funding to construct a new bicycle-pedestrian bridge crossing between Arlington and Washington, D.C. The construction of this shared-used path is part of the broader Long Bridge project to relieve passenger and freight rail bottlenecks along the existing corridor.
