Arlington County is now offering FREE Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to children as young as 6 months old!
Visit the County website or go directly to the VAMS portal to schedule an appointment. If you need ADA accommodations or help scheduling an appointment, call 703-228-7999.
The Pfizer vaccine is authorized for children ages 6 months through 4 years old, and the Moderna vaccine is authorized for children ages 6 months through 5 years old. Both vaccines are equally safe and effective.
Both the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for children as young as 6 months are offered by appointment only at the Public Health Immunization Clinic, located in Sequoia Plaza.
Appointments are available Wednesdays and Fridays, 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Saturdays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Additional opportunities might be available at pediatrician and family practice offices, and pharmacies. Parents should contact their healthcare provider with questions about availability.
Visit vaccines.gov to find a location that’s best for your family. Pharmacies may only be able to vaccinate those 3 years and older – so check with yours before you go.
