  • The Northern Virginia region and Arlington continue to experience a rise in COVID-19 cases. As of May 16, 2022, the County’s positivity rate is hovering around 13% -- its highest since early January. As long as we’re in the Medium CDC Community Level, it’s recommended we all follow some well-known advice:

    • Use layered strategies to prevent the spread of COVID-19;
    • Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines;
    • Get tested if you have symptoms;
    • Wear a mask if you have symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19, and on public transportation;
    • You may also choose to wear a mask at any time as an additional precaution to protect yourself and others.
  • Another round of free-at-home COVID test are available. Order yours today!
  • Arlington Mill and Walter Reed Community Centers continue to offer free COVID-19 vaccinations by walk-ins and appointments for individuals age 5 and older.
  • Everyone should stay up to date with vaccines, get boosters if eligible, and get tested if you have symptoms. Again: even if your symptoms may be due to allergies or other causes, it’s important to get tested to rule out COVID-19.
