John Robinson, Jr. Town Square is Now Open

John Robinson Family

The family of John Robinson, Jr. celebrates the opening of a town square named in his honor. The new town square in the Green Valley community features open space, an outdoor stage, checkered game tables, and the FREED sculpture, a 30-foot-tall beacon which pays homage to the notion of freedom.

 

COVID-19 News & Notes

  • Arlington County is still in the "Medium" Community Level as we continue to see a rise in COVID-19 cases -- if you are at high risk for severe illness, talk to your healthcare provider about whether you need to wear a mask and take other precautions
  • Everyone should stay up to date with vaccines, get boosters if eligible, and get tested if you have symptoms
  • Arlington Mill and Walter Reed Community Centers offer free COVID-19 vaccinations by walk-ins and appointments for individuals age 5 and older.
