Food Access & Security Study Released

The Urban Institute has just released its study, "Improving Food Security and Access in Arlington County, VA" that is produced in conjunction with the Food Security Task Force and AFAC.

Arlington Environmental Collection and Recycling Event (E-CARE)

E-CARE is a biannual environmentally friendly drop-off event where residents can safely dispose of household hazardous materials (HHM), bikes, small metal, and many other items. This year's E-CARE takes place on Sat., April 23, 8:30 am to 3 pm.

New Food Assistance Webpage

COVID-19 News & Notes

  • Tomorrow, April 16, is the last day Free COVID-19 Rapid Antigen At-Home Test Kits will be available at Central and Columbia Pike Libraries.
  • Walter Reed Community Center COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic and Arlington Mill Community Center are open during regular hours (Tuesday–Friday, 11 a.m.–7 p.m.). Find more opportunities at vaccines.gov.
  • CDC recommends additional boosters for certain individuals. Vaccine eligibility information can be found in the COVID-19 Vaccination Schedules.
