Friday Night Teen Sports at Lubber Run

$150 Free ART Bus Service for SNAP/TANF Residents
SNAP/TANF residents can sign up for the Free Transit Fare Pilot on Tues., April 5 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. or Wed., April 6 from 4-6 p.m. in the Oak Room at Lubber Run Community Center and receive a pre-loaded $150 SmarTrip card to use on Arlington Transit [ART] buses. If you received a letter in the mail, you are eligible to apply.

Bike Nature!
Join us in Glencarlyn Park on Sat., April 9 and 16 from 3:30-5 p.m. and take a ride stream-side on the paved paths of the W&OD and Four Mile Run paths. Brief stops/photo-ops may include Sparrow Pond and other points of interest. Bring your bicycle, helmet and water bottle. There is no cost for this ride and it suits people 10 and older. Join our naturalists and Therapeutic Recreation staff to learn more about birds in spring during a sensory-friendly afternoon at Long Branch Nature Center! Paint along with our expert instructors and create a spring masterpiece with our Art-to-Go Box! Each box contains enough supplies to paint four 9”x12” paintings, printed instructions for the project and information on how to access the instructional video on the web.
