These awards honor women for their accomplishments and contributions to improving the lives and opportunities for Arlington residents, especially females. Nominations for the 2022 Women of Vision Awards will continue to be accepted through Monday, March 7.

• Free after school vax event! Join us on March 9 from 4:30- 6:30pm at Barcroft Elementary for a COVID-19 vaccine clinic exclusively for 5-11 year olds!
• Can’t make it? Our clinics at Arlington Mill and Walter Reed Community Centers accept walk ins. Visit Vaccines.gov.
• To limit the spread of COVID-19, follow these steps if you have symptoms, if you test positive, or if you had close contact with someone who is sick.

• Child and Youth Committee of the Arlington Community Services Board: Apply online to be a volunteer!
• The Human Rights Commission (HRC) is soliciting applications through March with the intent of filling multiple vacancies in April.
• Transitway Extension to Pentagon City Phase 2A through Feb. 27: Provide your feedback on the 60% Design Plans for Segment 2A of the Transitway Extension to Pentagon City. 
• Join the project team on Mar. 1, 7 p.m. for a community meeting to cover the concept design for the bus bay expansion at the East Falls Church Metro Station.
• Share your thoughts on how Arlington should invest in major infrastructure for the future though Mar. 15. ¿Cómo Arlington debe invertir en grandes infraestructuras para el futuro?

• Did you miss our Marcus Alert virtual town hall on February 17? You can watch a video recording and review meeting materials here. 
• Buy a Nurse Lunch: the Columbia Pike Partnership began raising funds to purchase meals directly from Columbia Pike restaurants for our frontline heroes.
• Meals for PathForward: Help provide one meal per week to the shelter until the end of hypothermia season.
• 2022 Arlington Reads: Arlington Public Library will present seven thought-provoking writers to talk about their own interactions with classic novels beginning Mar. 2.
• The next Made in Arlington pop-up at the Arlington Arts Center is on March 3, in celebration of Women’s History Month. 
• Restorative Arlington is hiring Facilitators for the Heart of Safety Restorative Justice Conferencing Program. Apply online by Mar. 8 using the Restorative Arlington Facilitator Application.
• Join the Arlington County Area Agency on Aging, for the Annual Community Engagement Forum on Aging Issues, Monday, Mar. 21, from 9:30 am to 12 pm.  
• Stop by the Registration Office at Lubber Run Community Center for Summer Camp registration Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
