Fall E-CARE Returns

Gather up household hazardous waste & other items for fast, safe drop-off on Sat., Oct. 9, 1425 N. Quincy St. We’ll take paint, old electronics, lightbulbs, batteries, metal items and much more. View the list of accepted materials. Bikes for the World will be on hand, collecting old bikes.

Neighborhood Street Sweeping Schedule

Regular street sweeping of nearly 814 lane miles removes debris and pollutants before they wash into streams, the Potomac River and the Chesapeake Bay. Street sweeping starts Oct. 4 - check the schedule to see when your neighborhood will be swept.

The Arlington County Public Health department is offering Pfizer booster COVID-19 vaccines by appointment only - find out who’s eligible.
QR codes from the Virginia Department of Health allow anyone to show proof of vaccination with a digital or printed QR code instead of a paper card, and without the need for an app.
