School Starts August 30!

Starting Monday, more people will be on the County's roadways as students begin to walk, bike, and ride the bus to school. Arlington police will conduct a high-visibility transportation safety campaign in and around school zones and bus stops to ensure everyone is as safe as possible.

Food Scraps Collection is Coming

Food scraps collection is launching September 6. County crews are delivering a countertop caddy, instructions and biodegradable bags to homes throughout Arlington to help you move your food scraps to the green organics cart.  Got a caddy but not sure you’ll need it for food scraps? Some alternative uses. Read the Food Scraps Collection Guide.
