Arlington County Government and Arlington Public Schools (APS) will implement a COVID-19 vaccination mandate for employees. This is a necessary step to help keep the community safe and is consistent with COVID-19 public health guidance. Unvaccinated employees will be required to be tested at least weekly for COVID-19 to limit the potential spread in the workforce and in the community.
The Virginia Department of Transportation is closing N. Glebe Road (Route 120) between Military Road and Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) for nine days to replace the Pimmit Run bridge deck and beam. The road will close at 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13 and will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23. See detour map and information
