COVID-19 Vaccines Now at Arlington Mill

In an effort to make access to COVID-19 vaccines even more widely available, Arlington County has opened a new clinic at the Arlington Mill Community Center. The site is open this week Tuesday-Friday, 12 p.m. - 7 p.m., and is offering the Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines to anyone 12 years and older. Simply walk-in, or schedule an appointment.


Free Child Care for Your Vaccination Appointment

These Arlington child care providers are offering free child care so parents and caregivers can get vaccinated. Contact the centers directly for details, and then find a vaccine site near you.


Virginia Hits 70% Vaccination Milestone

Governor Ralph Northam announced 70% of adults 18 years and older in Virginia have now received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Virginia is the 16th state in the nation to meet this goal, and reaches the key vaccination milestone two weeks ahead of the nationwide July 4 target.

 

To date, over 8.8 million doses of vaccine have been administered in Virginia and more than 4.2 million people are fully vaccinated. In Arlington, over 123,000 individuals are fully vaccinated


Updates on COVID-19 Testing in Arlington

Testing for COVID-19 remains an important part of stopping this pandemic, with VDH strongly recommending testing for people with symptoms or signs of COVID-19. In the coming days, there are a few changes set for the Arlington County Government Testing Locations:

  • The Mobile Walk-Up Site will be at 601 S Carlin Springs Rd., June 21 - July 9
  • The last day of the Arlington Free Clinic Walk-Up Site at Arlington Mill Community Center is Friday, June 25.

  • The Curative Testing Kiosk at Tucker Field at Barcroft Park will be relocated to the Arlington Mill Community Center, and will open on Tuesday, June 29.
