Public Notice - Arlington, Virginia

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE COUNTY BOARD OF ARLINGTON CO., VA, invite members of the community to join them for small group interactive conversations on a future Civilian Review Board on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 6:30pm at 2100 Clarendon Boulevard Arlington Va. 22201, Suite 307. Virtual participation options are also available.  Sign up here for either in-person or virtual participation.

During this 90 minute session, participants will have the opportunity to share insights and perspectives about the various aspects and role of a future Civilian Review Board (CRB).  The County Board is uniquely interested in exploring (1) process of investigations; (2) proactive audits and policy review functions; and (3) the relationship between the CRB and the community.

While this session is intended as an interactive discussion between the Board and the Public, there will be additional opportunity for citizen input when the item is heard at the July County Board Meeting, where speakers will have the option to share their thoughts with the board via two or three minute public testimony. Registration for the July meeting will open approximately one week in advance, and can be accessed on the County Board Home page.

For questions, contact the County Board Office Mon. - Fri., 8am-5pm at 703-228-3130 or email countyboard@arlingtonva.us. Closed captioning available on live stream and cable station broadcasts.  Please wear a mask if you are unable to maintain 6 feet distance from others.
