Summer Travel After Being Vaccinated

If you're planning to travel this summer, it's good to know if you need to get tested or quarantine when you're fully vaccinated. Watch the latest Q&A from Jessica for some answers to help make summer plans easier!

 

Need a vaccine? In addition to the County's clinics, you can search vaccines.gov to find a location near you! Places like CVS, Giant, Harris Teeter and Safeway are offering later hours and welcoming walk-ins!

Lost Your COVID-19 Vaccine Card?

Virginia residents have been instructed to take a photo of the front and back side of COVID-19 immunization cards. Those needing a replacement card can email the Virginia Immunization Information System (VIIS) help desk at vaccinerecord@vdh.virginia.gov, or by calling the VIIS help desk at 866-375-9795 to request a copy.

Hospitalization of Adolescents Aged 12–17

Most COVID-19–associated hospitalizations occur in adults, but severe disease occurs in all age groups, including adolescents aged 12–17 years. Recent increased hospitalization rates in spring 2021 and potential for severe disease reinforce the importance of continued COVID-19 prevention measures, including vaccination.
