COVID Q&A

In a new edition of the COVID-19 Vaccine Q&A video series, we answer your questions about second doses, pre-registering and why you can't just give your vaccine appointment to a family member.

Safer Ways to Observe Religious Holidays

Attending gatherings to observe religious and spiritual holidays increases your risk of getting and spreading COVID-19. So this year it's best to enjoy Easter dinner and egg hunts virtually, with people who live with you, or outside and at least 6 feet apart from others.

If you are fully vaccinated, you can gather safely with other fully vaccinated people without wearing masks. Learn more about CDC’s recommendations for people fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Check Your Pre-Register at Vaccinate Virginia

Everyone who lives or works in Virginia -- regardless of eligibility status -- should continue to pre-register by visiting vaccinate.virginia.gov or by calling 877-VAX-IN-VA (877-829-4682).

Additionally, everyone who has already pre-registered should doublecheck their information in Vaccinate Virginia -- If a record is missing important information, or there are typos, appointments may be delayed.
