PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT on APRIL 6, 2021, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as matter may be heard, the County Board of Arlington, VA, will hold a VIRTUAL PUBLIC HEARING on County Manager’s Proposed Budget, which includes School transfers for Fiscal Year (FY) 2022, which begins July 1, 2021. The public may participate in the virtual hearing via cable stations Comcast 25 & 1085 and Verizon FiOS 39 & 40 and live-stream on at www.arlingtonva.us.
Visit County Board website at countyboard.arlingtonva.us for information on advanced online sign-up to speak at hearing or call the County Clerk’s office at 703-228-3130 to register. Online registration will be available at countyboard.arlingtonva.us 5 days before the hearing. Persons needing interpretation services or assistance for the hearing-impaired should contact the County Board Office at 703-228-3130 by April 2, 2021. This meeting will be closed captioned for the hearing-impaired.
The proposed budget may be examined by contacting the Office of the Clerk to the County Board at 703-228-3130 weekdays between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is available for review on County’s web site. Interested persons may also comment on the Annual Plan and past performance of these programs by emailing countyboard@arlingtonva.us or calling 703-228-3130 between 8am to 5pm.
The virtual budget public hearing is separate from the virtual public hearing on real estate tax rate, personal property tax rate, fee changes and other ordinance changes, which will be held April 8, 2021, at 7 p.m. or as soon thereafter as matters may be heard, cablecast and live-streaming on Arlington TV.
