A Peek Inside

First Down Flag Football
Kids learn basic skills and concepts to help develop player's technique, fine motor skills, and overall passion for flag football!

Rocky Run Park. Ages 5-7. Sundays beginning, Apr. 18, 1-1:45 p.m.10 Sessions for $165. Activity Code: #320610

 

Stationary Cycling
Get your heart pumping with an instructor-led cycle class outside Thomas Jefferson Community Center! Each class will help to enhance cardio conditioning in a safe, judgement-free zone. Students will warm-up, climb, sprint, interval train and cool-down during these 45-minute sessions. Our goal is to help you succeed! Burn the calories away while having fun!

History Hikes: In Search of Civil War Arlington

During the American Civil War, Arlington’s western border was the site of many important Union camps and outposts. We’ll learn about the historic features of the area, as well as how to identify Civil War earthworks. 

Bluemont Park. All Ages. Two options Sat., May 22, 10 a.m.–Noon or 2–4 p.m.  Free. Activity Code: #632751

 

Flashlight Hike

Come hike through the forest trails and along the creek in total darkness using only our flashlights to guide the way. We might find wild animals, or they may find us. BYOF: bring a good flashlight. 

Long Branch Nature Center. Ages 10 -14. Sat., May 8, 8-9:30 p.m. Free.
