Arlington to Enter Phase 2

Arlington County is transitioning to Phase 2 of the Forward Virginia plan on Friday, June 12. Under Phase 2, Arlington will maintain a Safer at Home strategy, the maximum number of people allowed in a social gathering will increase from 10 to 50 people and restaurant and beverage establishments may offer indoor dining at 50% occupancy. Additionally, Arlington will open its dog parks, basketball and volleyball courts. More details and information on Phase 2


COVID-19 Town Hall on June 12

Join the County Board for their weekly virtual town hall on COVID-19 in Arlington, with updates and information on the County's response, including preparation for Phase 2 of reopening.

Holds Pickup at Central Library Begins June 15

Starting June 15, Arlington Public Library will accept book returns at all branches and offer a materials pickup service at Central Library to patrons who have a hold which is currently ready. And then starting on June 18, new holds may be placed online in the Library catalog and app. More info.
