County, APS Supporting Families

Arlington Public Schools and Arlington County Government are working together to support families and students, including plans for continued distance learning and ensuring families in need have access to food. 

"The strong partnership between County Government and APS will help us help our Schools families get through this emergency," Arlington County Board Chair Libby Garvey said.

The Toilet is Not a Trash Can

Now more than ever, never flush anything down the toilet except human waste and toilet paper. Cleaning wipes and supposedly "flushable" hygiene wipes often clog sewer systems as does dental floss and other items. The toilet is not a trash can.  

Farmers Markets Able to Reopen with Pre-Orders

After receiving additional guidance from the state, Arlington’s farmers markets can re-open this weekend in a new format – preordered sales only. Get the details.
