WATCH: County Board's COVID-19 Update

“The COVID-19 pandemic has drastically altered the routines and rhythms of our lives here in Arlington, across Virginia and indeed the globe,” said Board Chair Libby Garvey. “I think we all know now that life is not going to get back to normal for some time.”

Speaking from a safe social distance, the County Board opened its March 24 meeting with a report on the status of the County Government and community response to COVID-19.

Be Mindful of Waste

During this unprecedented time, we encourage residents to be mindful of waste so we don't overwhelm the system. All regular weekly curbside collection services are currently available, BUT collection resources are beginning to show signs of strain. Please help keep our community clean and safe by disposing of all trash – including gloves, masks, and wipes – in trash cans.
