Arlington's Lomax A.M.E. Zion Church, first established by freed slaves in 1866, held a ceremony with the Center for Local History to celebrate the donation of archival records, including a 19th century pulpit bible. Now members of the community can research and discover more about the history of one of Arlington's oldest African-American churches.
